Some companies buy their products in bulk from countries like China and then add their own name to the box to make it feel like an American company. There are only a few companies that actually source all materials and manufacture their products right here in the USA. At Rockin’ Wood, We are one of those companies.

Our wood is authentic reclaimed wood!
So many companies (especially the big box stores) will sell you an “accent wall in a box” or “reclaimed wood style planks.” This is usually just new wood that has been treated with a wood accelerator or stain to look old. The wood we use is all naturally weathered from decades in the elements. We do not treat or stain the wood to make it look older. A lot of “distressed” wood out there is just new wood that has been beaten up with tools to make it look like it has scars, dents, dings and scratched. The wood we use has all the signs of a long life – and guess what? They were all achieved naturally. The wood planks we sell have screw holes, knotholes, chips, dents, scratches and dings and they have a “worn” quality that cannot be replicated. Every board is unique and has its own story.
We are helping out mother nature – in a big way!
We save over 8 tons of wood from going to the landfill every week. Every board we use in our shop was destined to be in the landfill before we rescued it. We source all of our wood locally in Oklahoma. We use wood from barns, fences and other structures. We reuse or recycle 100% of what we bring in to our shop. When we bring in the wood, we use every piece we can. We recycle all the screws and nails that we remove, any wood pieces that we can’t use gets turned into mulch, and our sawdust gets made into compost.
Our prices are amazing!
When you compare our prices to comparable products, you will find that we are far lower than our competitors. How do we keep our prices so low while keeping our quality so high? It’s easy!
- Plain packaging – We don’t see the point in spending a lot of money to make a fancy box for shipping your products. You are going to open the box and throw it away. We ship all of our products in plain cardboard boxes and pass those savings on to you.
- No fancy showroom – When you come into our store you will not be walking into a fancy waiting area, a cappuccino machine or view our products in a fancy display case. We know our products don’t need to be in a fancy display for you to see how great they are – and guess what?? We do have a regular coffee pot and you are welcome to have a cup of Folgers with us!
- We don’t spend a lot of money on advertising! Most of our new customers come from referrals. The best compliment you can give us is to refer us to your friends and we appreciate each one of our customers.
